Xfinity offers cell phone plans for its internet customers. Using the Verizon network, unlimited data is available on any Xfinity Mobile line, whether you have a phone or tablet.

What we like

Discounts available – Xfinity Mobile offers discounts for multiple lines.
Data options – You can choose from monthly data options, unlimited or by the gig.
Device options – You can bring your own phone or choose from a wide variety of devices for a monthly price. For example, the iPhone 12 is available for $5.42/mo. and the iPhone 15 Pro is $25/mo.

Things to consider

Availability – The mobile service is only available to Xfinity internet customers.
High starting price – The starting plan price is double that of some pay-as-you-go services like Mint Mobile that start at $15/mo.
Signal strength – You need to have a 5G-enabled device otherwise Xfinity deprioritizes 4G service, so you may have lag and connection issues.
No bundle options – Xfinity Mobile cannot be included as an option with any Xfinity double-, triple- or quad-play bundles.

Bundling Xfinity Mobile with internet

You can save up to $20 a month by bundling internet and mobile for 24 months. Bundles with 200 Mbps and 400 Mbps include one line of unlimited data and 20 GB of data. Pricing is $50 to $70/mo. However, you can’t package any of the mobile plans with Xfinity’s double-, triple- or quad-play bundles.

Xfinity uses the Verizon coverage area and offers 5G, 4G LTE and millions of Xfinity WiFi hotspot locations. Verizon’s nationwide coverage has a few dead spots in the West and mid-Atlantic, but otherwise, you will have excellent coverage across the country.

Getting an Xfinity mobile phone is a good deal if you bundle it with a mobile phone. Otherwise, it can be a bit pricey compared to other cell phone-only carriers. The Verizon network is a strong one and you will have good coverage with your Xfinity mobile phone.
