EarthLink offers a $10/mo. discount on its mobile plans if you bundle your plan with two or more lines or an EarthLink internet plan.

EarthLink Mobile vs. other providers

EarthLink’s mobile plans are cheaper overall than other mobile providers like Spectrum, Xfinity and Optimum. EarthLink also does not require you to have its internet service to buy its mobile plans – you can buy them on their own or bundle them together. 

EarthLink Mobile coverage

EarthLink Mobile claims it has “the largest and best 5G and 4G LTE coverage.” It uses Ultra Mobile’s network and Ultra Mobile uses T-Mobile’s network. While this may sound confusing, it’s actually quite common in the internet and mobile space. Because of this partnership, EarthLink Mobile has fairly widespread coverage throughout the U.S. 

Its main dead spots are located in the country’s Western region in states like Nevada, Idaho, Oregon, Arizona, Wyoming, Montana and parts of California.

Our final take

If you already have EarthLink internet, you might as well add on mobile to save some money every month. However, you can buy the mobile service by itself which differentiates EarthLink Mobile from other top providers like Xfinity and Spectrum. You’ll also have access to 5G and widespread coverage throughout the country.
