Altice owns Optimum, an internet and cable TV service provider that also offers mobile phone service using T-Mobile’s 4G LTE and 5G networks.

Optimum Mobile plans

Optimum Mobile has plans from $15 to $55/mo. for their internet customers. If you’re not a customer, you can still get a mobile plan, but be aware there is an additional $20/mo. per line surcharge for it.

If you have multiple lines on either of the two Unlimited plans, you can get a discounted rate from $30 to $40/mo. per line, a savings of $15/mo.

All Optimum plans come with unlimited text and calls, free 5G access and nationwide availability. They also supply customer service support for phone set-up.

Bundling Optimum Mobile with internet

Optimum bundle, Internet + Mobile Savings, gives Optimum Mobile and Optimum Internet customers the ability to save $10 to $15/mo. on their internet bill, depending which internet speed tier you pick.

For instance, with the 100-300 Mbps plan, you can save $10/mo. For the other plans ranging from 500 Mbps to 5 Gig, you can save $15/mo.

Optimum also offers cable TV service that can be bundled with an internet plan for additional savings. With your TV, internet and mobile phone tied together, you could potentially see $25/mo. in savings.

Optimum Mobile vs. other mobile providers

Optimum Mobile is a bit lower in cost than Spectrum or Xfinity and does allow non-internet customers to purchase a mobile plan.

Altice’s Optimum offers cell phone service through T-Mobile’s 4G LTE and 5G network, so wherever T-Mobile is available, you’ll have service on your Optimum Mobile phone.

Optimum Mobile is a pretty good deal at $15/mo. if you are a light phone user. You can also save money when bundling your internet and mobile phone with them.

If you aren’t an internet customer, an additional $20 fee is added, making your bill $35/mo. You could go with another carrier like Mint Mobile for about $15/mo.
