Most internet services come with a slew of added fees to keep an eye out for. Your AT&T plan fees could add up to over $100, depending on the type of internet service you sign up for and any extra services you require. Here are AT&T’s added fees with its fiber internet service:
- $49 one-time DSL activation fee
- $99 self-installation assistance fee with fiber, DSL or 5G internet service. (Only applicable if you don’t opt for professional installation and then require a technician’s assistance)
- $99 professional installation fee (fiber, 5G)
- $149 professional installation fee (DSL)
- Late payment fees: $9.75 for DSL, $9.99 for fiber or 5G
- $150 to $200 fee if you fail to return your AT&T-provided internet equipment after service ends (fiber, 5G)
