Cox internet

Cox internet is a hybrid fiber-coax connection with speeds ranging from 100 to 2,000 Mbps and starts at $50/mo.

In 2024, Cox’s customer service rating improved by four points, for a score of 68/100, placing it in the top four, below T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon.

Cox TV

Cox cable TV starts at $61 for more than 75 channels up to 250 channels for just under $150/mo.

Cox Communications offers three TV plans. The Cox channel guide lists the channels included in each plan. Packages come with cable standards like CNN, Fox and ESPN, and you can add premium channels like HBO®, SHOWTIME®, STARZ® or CINEMAX® to any TV package for an additional fee.

Cox mobile

Cox offers cellphone plans on the Verizon network with prices from $15 to $45/mo. and unlimited data. Prices get better the more lines you add.

Cox bundles

Cox Communications allows customers to bundle TV and internet services, but other than consolidating bills, combining plans does not yield savings. A perk for Cox customers is to bundle their mobile phone plans with internet, starting at $15/mo. for gig pay-as-you-go plans.

What to know about Cox services

Cox is a solid, average internet service provider with a wide range of speeds. There are data caps on some Cox plans to be aware of. Going over those can cost you $10/mo. for every 50GB exceeded.

Although most of Cox’s services are powered by a cable/fiber hybrid system, some address may still only have DSL access, so check your address before you decide on the provider.
For a fee, Cox provides an HD Contour Box or a Wireless 4K Contour Box, as well as several DVR service options.
