Are you an existing customer looking for help?
View Cox customer serviceCox offers hybrid cable and fiber internet plans starting at $50.00/mo. with speeds from 100 to 2,000 Mbps. Cable internet is one of the most widely available internet types behind satellite and delivers competitive download speeds that can support most household internet activities. Fiber can offer symmetrical upload and download speeds, but that is not the case for Cox.
Cox offers three TV packages ranging from $71.00 to $162.00/mo. for 75 to 250+ channels, depending on the package you choose.
Cox Mobile is available to Cox internet customers. Its cheapest mobile plan is $30.00/mo. for up to five lines with unlimited data. Cox also offers a pay-as-you-go option from $15/mo. with 1 gig of data.
Cox also offers home phone service with unlimited calling across North America (U.S., Canada and Mexico). You can keep your current phone number and no extra equipment is required.
What to know about Cox
Cox is a solid, average internet service provider with a wide range of speeds. There are data caps on some Cox plans to be aware of. Going over those can cost you $10/mo. for every 50 GB exceeded.
Although most of Cox’s services are powered by a cable/fiber hybrid system, some address may still only have DSL access, so check your address before you decide on the provider.
For a fee, Cox provides an HD Contour Box or a Wireless 4K Contour Box, as well as several DVR service options.
In 2024, Cox’s customer service rating improved by four points, for a score of 68/100, placing it in the top four, below T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon.
Cox bundles
Cox Communications allows customers to bundle TV and internet services, but other than consolidating bills, combining plans does not yield savings. A perk for Cox customers is to bundle their mobile phone plans with internet, starting at $15/mo. for gig pay-as-you-go plans.
