Find Montana internet providers by city
The Big Sky state is known for its wide-open spaces. Although it is the fourth largest state in terms of area, with 1.1 million people, it is the eighth least populous state in the country. Billings, its most populous city, only has about 110,000 people.
While this is great for people who like to get away from the crowd, it creates a situation where there are not as many internet options. Most of the internet service providers are either wireless or satellite. But it’s still possible to get the fastest download speed of 940 Mbps.
Explore internet availability and speed in various Montana cities below. We’ve included each city’s median download speed from Ookla’s Speedtest.net, the percentage of households in each city with access to at least 100 Mbps, 250 Mbps and 1,000 Mbps and the number of providers available in each city.

Montana internet customer reviews
5/5
I am very satisfied with Hughesnet Service. I switched to this about 5 weeks ago. I have lost service twice and both times it was snowing and extremely cold and windy. Service was off for about 2 hours. I am saving almost 200.00 per month by switching. I am still figuring out the channels and how to get there. I am having fun seeing so many different shows I never had access to.
4/5
Internet only works half the time, bill is outrageous and no customer service.
