Why should you consider bundling?

Bundling internet and TV or phone services can save you time with one bill.

Bundling is convenient when shopping for home services and paying your monthly bill, but it can come with upfront and monthly savings.

Many providers offer monthly discounts of $10 or more per service when you bundle, plus extra ways to save, such as free installation and equipment upgrades.

Sometimes perks are included, like a free streaming subscription or a gift card.

How we picked the best internet bundles

To provide you with the best bundle options, our staff looks at:

  • Price: Will bundling services give you a discount?
  • Speed: Is the speed offered in a bundle competitive?
  • Availability: Are bundles available to the majority of the service area?
  • Number of services: Can you bundle two or more services?
  • Contracts: Do the services require contracts?

Tips for choosing the best bundle

When shopping for multiple services, don’t just bundle because you can. There are a few things to consider before adding services together:

  • Are you saving money by bundling? Some ISPs do not offer any cost savings when you bundle. You might find add-ons like TV, home or mobile phones cheaper elsewhere
  • Don’t pay for more than you need. Know how much speed you need for what you use the internet for the most
  • The best bundle options will save you money, so read the fine print in case some of those great-sounding prices won’t last long

Internet, TV and phone bundling options

Bundling internet, TV and phone service can often save you money.

Triple-play bundles typically come with the most savings. Some providers may even include home phone at no extra cost when you bundle internet and TV together. We’ve listed some of the cheapest internet bundle packages available with each provider below, but additional options are likely to be available in your area.

You’ll get the most bundle savings with Xfinity because each bundled service has a multi-product discount. The package we’ve listed below has a discount of $40, so Xfinity is our pick if you’re looking for the most savings.

Frontier doesn’t offer traditional cable TV service, but Frontier Internet customers can save $120 on YouTube TV.

Which providers offer the best bundle discounts?

Xfinity offers some of the best bundle discounts. With Xfinity, you get $10 off your monthly bill for every service you bundle. This means that you could get up to $40 off with some bundles.

When choosing a bundle package, make sure you consider hidden fees when determining which plan will fit into your budget. There are a wide range of fees you can expect with internet and cable TV bundles, including internet equipment and TV equipment monthly rental charges, installation fees, broadcasting charges, activation fees and more. Click below to learn more about the hidden fees of internet plans.

Guide to internet fees

While bundling can save you money compared to opting for standalone services, a bundle with high savings may come with more services or features than you need. Some bundles come with a no-contract internet option, while others may make you sign a contract for a service. Consider your needs and get the package that makes the most sense for your home, even if they are standalone services from different providers.
