Verizon Mobile review

Verizon Mobile offers customizable plans within its three plans: Unlimited Welcome, Unlimited Plus and Unlimited Ultra. You can choose between Apple One, a Disney Bundle or enhanced shopping discounts with a Wal-Mart membership, depending on which plan you pick. You can also get discounts for bundling with Verizon 5G Home Internet.

Unlimited Welcome offers unlimited data, but your speed will be slowed down in times of congestion. Unlimited Plus and Ultra run on Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband, combining high-band (mmWave) and mid-band (C-band) spectrum.

Bundling Verizon Mobile with internet

Verizon 5G Home Internet costs $50 to $70 on its own. If you bundle with a Verizon Mobile plan, however, you can get home internet for $40 with the Welcome plan and $25/mo. with the Ultimate and Plus plans. You can save $5 to $10/mo.* depending on which mobile plan you pick.

Verizon Mobile vs. other mobile providers

Starting prices for Verizon phone plans are about the same as Xfinity and Spectrum but cheaper than T-Mobile. Pay-as-you-go Verizon plans start at $35/mo., so those are a bit more expensive than other providers, but the average monthly price of a cell phone is considerably more expensive.

Verizon Mobile offers 4G LTE and 5G service in parts of 48 states. Verizon covers most of the East Coast, the South, the Midwest, up through Canada, and large parts of the U.S. West. Idaho and Nevada are the two states with the least coverage available.
