Pausing Verizon service

Like many internet and TV providers, Verizon allows customers to place a seasonal hold on their account, where they temporarily suspend service for anywhere from one to nine months. You might use a seasonal hold if you are leaving town for an extended period of time and know you won’t be using your internet or television. There is a one-time charge to suspend your service, but no ongoing fees. To suspend your service, simply log in to your account on the Verizon website or the My Fios app.
