Available Spectrum internet speeds may vary by location

Most areas will have access to Spectrum’s speed tiers of 200 Mbps, 400 Mbps and 940 Mbps. In some areas, Spectrum may offer 60 or 100 Mbps in place of the 200 Mbps plan and 300 Mbps in place of the 400 Mbps plan.

The actual Spectrum speeds you get can also vary by your location. Since Spectrum uses a cable network, the actual speeds you get can fluctuate during peak usage times, especially if you live in a large neighborhood or apartment building.

Spectrum Internet Gig availability

Spectrum first rolled out their gig service in eight major cities. After successful launches in markets such as Austin, TX; Kansas City, MO; and San Diego, CA, Spectrum took their gig service nationwide and is now one of the leading providers of gigabit internet.

The FCC reports that Spectrum internet speeds of 500 Mbps or higher, which would include their gigabit plan, are now available in 99% of Spectrum service areas. This means if you are serviceable for Spectrum internet, chances are you’ll have access to their gigabit speeds.

Spectrum internet and TV bundles availability

Spectrum TV service is available virtually everywhere that Spectrum internet service is offered. Spectrum currently has three main TV packages to choose from — Select, Silver and Gold  — plus add-on options for sports, premium and international channels. Spanish-language TV packages are also available. Spectrum has a broad coverage area, so channels and special offers can vary by location.

You can combine Spectrum internet and TV services wherever they are available. Along with the added convenience of shopping and paying for services through a single provider, bundling with Spectrum can save you money on your monthly bill and upfront installation costs.
