What do Spectrum customers think?
Spectrum is a cable internet provider. Customer satisfaction among internet providers is generally low, but Spectrum customers gave the provider high scores in customer service satisfaction. Spectrum also had average satisfaction scores in the speed and reliability sections, but its year two price increases could be causing some lower scores in the price category.

My only issue with Spectrum is the intermittent service … it has several daily incidences of my service going off and on again. Very annoying.

Equipment was delivered quickly, installation was easy with the existing coax that was in our home, setup was automatic from our smartphone. Service has proved reliable for the two months it been used for mostly internet browsing and video streaming. Price is reasonable and guaranteed for two years.

I have been a Spectrum customer for the last 8-12 years. They offer some great packages but some how the value of those packages don’t seem to maintain the original standard after so much time has passed. They do make up for it in customer service and offers that are available once you talk to them.

Disappointing Service and No Support for Active Duty Military. As a U.S. Army veteran, I’m incredibly disappointed in Spectrum’s lack of support for military personnel. While under official military orders, I attempted to cancel my service and requested a prorated final bill, something any reasonable company should accommodate. Instead, I was told I would be charged for the full billing cycle, regardless of my situation. Customer service was unhelpful, dismissive, and showed no understanding of the unique circumstances that come with military service. I provided all the documentation required, yet was met with zero flexibility or compassion. For a company that claims to support the community, Spectrum has a long way to go in understanding what true support looks like, especially for those who serve. I would not recommend Spectrum to any military family or anyone who values respectful and responsive customer service.

Two months ago my Spectrum bill was $68.36/mo. Last month my bill said our promotional discount was ending. I called Spectrum on 4/11/25 and was told that they could give me a rate of $78.41/mo. For one month that was the rate. I just received my bill and it is now $98.52/mo. In two months my Spectrum bill has gone up $30! What happened…

We had a discount for one month?! This is not good customer service. I was told the only way to reduce my bill would be to sign up for cell service with Spectrum. Hmmm, bribery? Bait and switch? Very dissatisfied customer. 🙁

I changed my internet and tv bundle 3 days after the new billing cycle started and Spectrum would not apply a pro rated credit to my account reflecting my new lower bill amount. Says i must pay the old higher $ so ripped off for almost 1 month.

I switched to Spectrum from Frontier because of constant outages with FIOS. Spectrum has been down several times since I started. Not as fast as FIOS, but I’m OK with it and I guess they all go out.

Installer left white line from pole to residence, noting independent contractor would bury it. Received note on March 25 that line had been buried: It was not and I’ve repeatedly tried to send that message to Spectrum with apparently, no luck. Condo trustee called saying if line not buried (soon), lawn service will cut it:

Over time, the cost of my internet has doubled, and I’m paying almost $120 a month for their most basic internet. Great service, but VERY expensive after you’ve been with them for a few years
