The New York Mets have won the World Series two times. The organization plays in the National League’s Eastern Division.

The Mets were founded in 1962 to replace two outgoing MLB franchises, the Brooklyn Dodgers and the New York Giants. SportsNet NY carries most New York Mets games. Broadcasts are only available locally and blackouts still apply.
