In an effort to fight the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the MLB has delayed the start of the 2020 regular season. We’ll continue to update this page as more information is announced.

The New York Mets have won the World Series two times. The organization plays in the National League’s Eastern Division.

The Mets were founded in 1962 to replace two outgoing MLB franchises, the Brooklyn Dodgers and the New York Giants. They managed to win the World Series within seven years, causing one of the biggest upsets of all-time by defeating the Baltimore Orioles in 1969. The team has since competed in four additional World Series, which included a second, and most recent, success in 1986. The franchise also has six Eastern Division titles, of which the most recent was in 2015.

SportsNet NY carries most New York Mets games. Broadcasts are only available locally and blackouts still apply.
