Speed is not unlimited after you reach 300mpbs it reduces to 1 and then you have to purchase more 50 for 39.95 to keep decent speed.

It was used up in less than 10 days. I called Customer Service and was told that I could buy more GB, they also told me I could switch to a plan for 250…
EarthLink has decent Internet but what I don’t like is that they didn’t explain fully what their plans were. I mistakenly signed up for the essential plan, only 100 GB. It was used up in less than 10 days. I called Customer Service and was told that I could buy more GB, they also told me I could switch to a plan for 250 GB which I agreed to do. They also told me about their “unlimited” plan that had 300 GB. Why is there a plan that is unlimited with a cap on it. I was told that if I used all the GB that I would be able to buy more but if I didn’t, I would lose Internet service until it renewed again at beginning of next billing cycle…WHAT??? How is that unlimited??? So I agreed to the 250 GB plan since I would have had to get a different modem for the 300 GB unlimited plan. Then they told me they were having trouble on their end and would call me back in 30 minutes… No call, so about 3 hours later I called only to be told they will call when the problem is fixed….24 hours later I had to call them again. Had to explain situation again to person #5 that I talked to. She tried to upgrade plan for me and this time it worked. Again the actual Internet service is great but I really don’t like their business practices.

I was very excited about getting EarthLink. I felt like I had overcame my internet problems. However, a week ago it was interrupted again. I kept putting in my password but to no avail. It was out for 12 hours.

Stared 100GB plan 12/12/24, by 12/19/24 got message stating 50% had been used. I have 10GB on my phone and NEVER use it all in a month. They do not explain this to you when you order it and there and it is very deceiving considering the package is called ‘unlimited.’

Absolutely horrible. Data caps but when I went on the website, it said there was no data caps. And then they wouldn’t let me get a refund for the data I didn’t use up
