To get more data that you can use to maintain your internet speed throughout the month, the company offers HughesNet tokens.

HughesNet plans and data caps

The prices of these plans can vary depending on your location and any current specials HughesNet is offering. We suggest going to the HughesNet website and entering your address in the “Plans” section to get accurate information for plans that are available to you.

As we mentioned above, even the unlimited data plans HughesNet offers have data caps. However, rather than simply turning off your access to the internet, it slows down to reduce the speed of your internet and in turn the amount of data you’re using. Steps to adding tokens to your HughesNet account

Let’s take a look at how you can add data tokens to your HughesNet account.

Step 1: Access your my.HughesNet.com account

First, you’ll need to get onto your account on my.HughesNet.com. You can do this through either your computer or the HughesNet mobile app.

Step 2: Navigate to “Shop/Upgrade” Section

Once you have access to your account, head to the Shop/Upgrade section. You can find this section by hovering over “Shop/Upgrade” in the upper navigation bar. This shows a drop-down menu. Click or tap “Get More Data.”

Step 3: Choose your data token

As we mentioned above, you will have the choice between several data token sizes and prices. These will appear in the “Get More Data” page of your HughesNet account. Simply select the data token you want and select the “Purchase” button next to it. The data token will be automatically added to your account.

The HughesNet Bonus Zone is 50 GB of extra data that the company gives you during off-peak hours. The HughesNet Bonus Zone hours are from 2-8 a.m. local time. When you need to download updates, games, movies, or any large file, schedule the download to start during the HughesNet Bonus Zone hours.

The HughesNet Bonus Zone might be an attractive option for users who find themselves downloading large files. You can also use this time to access the internet as you normally would. The HughesNet Bonus Zone is available even after you reach your high-speed data limit for the month.
