There’s no better time to find great deals on the latest tech than Black Friday. But with thousands of offers and promotions being tossed out, it can be hard to figure out which ones are actually worth your time. We combed through all the computers, TVs and internet equipment on sale right now on Amazon to find the best of the best.
LG C1 Series 4K OLED Smart TVs
It wouldn’t be Black Friday without a new TV, and it’s no exaggeration to say the LG C1 Series is one of the best you can buy. The TV testing site RTings named it the best OLED TV they’ve ever used, with high marks for its stunning picture quality, attractive stand and friendly user interface.
OLED TVs cost a little more than most 4K TVs, but they’re worth it if you’re after the very best picture quality. While other TVs use a backlight to illuminate the screen, each pixel emits its own light on an OLED. In short, the brights are brighter, the darks are darker and the contrast between the two is sharper.
TP-Link AC4000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router
One of the easiest ways to speed up your internet connection is to invest in a new wireless router. As a rule of thumb, experts recommend replacing your router every five years. And if you rent your router from your internet provider, buying your own will usually pay for itself within the first year.
TP-Link has a reputation for making great internet equipment, and the AC4000 is one of the best routers it makes. It’s a tri-band router, which means it uses three Wi-Fi frequency bands and automatically connects to the fastest network available. On top of its fast speeds and long range, you’ll also get a free lifetime subscription to TP-Link HomeCare, which adds antivirus protection and parental controls to your router and lets you prioritize specific devices.
TECLAST TBolt 20 Pro Gaming Laptop
There’s a lot to love about this gaming laptop from TECLAST. It has an Intel Core i5-8259U processor — typically found on computers with a higher price tag — plus some nice features like backlit keyboard, four separate speakers and a silent cooling fan. It’s all housed in a sleek, all-metal design with a 15.6-inch HD matte screen.
TCL 40-inch 1080p Smart LED Roku TV
If you’re in the market for a new TV this Black Friday, but don’t want to shell out huge money, the TCL 3-Series is one of the best values around. It comes with Roku built in, so you can access thousands of streaming apps without switching inputs to a separate streaming device, and it can even pair with an Alexa or Google Assistant-enabled smart speaker.
It’s an attractive TV for gamers, too, with a “Game” mode that gives you incredibly low input lag. The picture quality won’t be as stunning as more advanced OLED TVs, but you’ll also only pay a fraction of the price.
TP-Link AV1000 Powerline Ethernet Adapter
If your internet connection isn’t reaching every corner of your home, one of the best ways to extend your connection is a powerline Ethernet adapter. These devices have two components: one that hooks up to your router and an adapter that you plug into an electrical outlet where you want your connection to go. You then connect your device to that adapter using an Ethernet cable. TP-Link’s AV1000 supports speeds up to 1,000 Mbps, and takes just a few minutes to set up.
NETGEAR Wireless Access Point
If you have an office, business or just a large area you want to connect to the internet, a wireless access point allows you to spread your internet throughout a wider range than a typical Wi-Fi router. NETGEAR’s WAX218PA has two Wi-Fi bands, can connect up to 256 devices at once and supports WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 security standards.
