My service was pretty good when I first stared my account but now I am having many breakdowns in my service and spotty support. In the beginning it was great. I wish to maintain my service but it seems unable to keep up with basic service!!! I wanted to upgrade to get fiber optic service but I don’t have a lot of hope that I can get my needs resolved. I think it is possible for these issues to be achieved but I would like to see real results.

Thankfully I’m proud to say I haven’t had any issues and I highly recommend this ISP to others.

Very limited in high-speed providers at my address. Currently it is a DSL connection and was fairly decent for the first 6 weeks. Then started hanging, loss connection, and then very limited (nonexistent actually) service connection. It took several days for a tech to correct problem by installing a new router.

I live in a rural area so I’m completely understanding and aware signal complications attached with this, my primary problem concern is customer service. Windstream needs to provide a resource to address specific agent grievances. It’s impossible to file a complaint about customer service to customer service. Ridiculous.

No its for a week at a time. do not reccomend at all. there is absolutely no customer service to speak of. and if there is its weeks out before they can send anyone and not to mention there is no local office to visit. if you have other options and i mean ANY other options do not give a penny to windstream. I switched to a different provider and I’m much happier and not to mention my wallet is too.

Old equipment, lines getting cut by road graders , over heating of units on poles along the wire route overheat. Works less more than it does work.

My only problem is that I can’t establish account access on the APP.

The tech was fabulous. The customer service I received when my internet wasn’t working was terrible.

No ever get to talk to someone local. Always a weeks wait for a technician. Multiple issues over the past few years. Rarely resolved by one technician visit. You have to use their modems and the regularly break down. Price continues to go up as service gets worse. This is DSL, fiber not offered in my area.

I have been a Windstream customer for several years now. In the beginning, they were great. Speed tests consistently showed I got 100 Mbps download and 30 Mbps upload with low ping and low jitter. I have been a Windstream customer for several years now. In the beginning, they were great. Speed tests consistently showed I got 100 Mbps download and 30 Mbps upload with low ping and low jitter. Over the years the price has gone up and up, and the internet speeds have gone down and down. I’m now seeing 20-25 Mbps down, 3-5 Mbps up, high ping (200-300 ms) and high jitter (100-200 ms). There is no customer service to speak of. No one to talk to about these issues. No one to even lie to you and tell you they are working on it. If you have another option at your address, don’t give Windstream a cent of your money.
