I am elderly and don’t use my computer a lot. They had me hooked up at the highest, fastest rate. I called to have it decreased. After a month they put it back to the highest without telling me. Not right.

All I can say is stay away from Mediacom, this is the worst internet provider I have ever experienced, you will pay for service that is inconsistent. I have had them for two months and had over 7 techs out. That’s is not normal. Please if you can do not have them service you.

Not happy that my rate goes up each year, no matter what. Also, not happy that they didn’t tell me that only one cable connection is live, so in order to get more live, I have to add or upgrade?

I was quickly connected to an agent that was able to answer ALL of my questions, promptly and accurately. The process was very smooth, affordable, and came with lots of great perks. I was quickly connected to an agent that was able to answer ALL of my questions, promptly and accurately. The process was very smooth, affordable, and came with lots of great perks. Make sure to check out their additional services, as many as FREE or FREE for an extended amount of time. Installation was quickly done, with kind and courteous workers. We did expect them to complete the installation on their original Monday appointment with us, but instead had to wait for them to return that Friday. The pole necessary for the installation was surrounded with some weeds, trash, brush, branches, poison ivy… But we completed the clear out they asked for in 20 minutes and had to wait an additional 4 days. I was understanding of the clear out being necessary, but I wish they would’ve simply helped me or waited for me to quickly complete it. They had zero tools and it was hard to believe that we were just out of luck entirely at the time, since we had already waited patiently all weekend! Some lagging while trying to stream, but overall very reliable and fast!

The package I ordered is supposed to be 1 Gbps. I have yet to see over 600 Mbps in any speed test. It is also advertised as fiber. It’s not, it’s cable. I’m disappointed.

For the price it is adequate internet for streaming videos, live tv, radioli & weather using a.Firirestick. I also ordered a xumo box to get additional channels but have not found it comparable to United Fiber TV. I would have additional cost to add a similar service. A phone line is also extra cost. For the price it is adequate internet for streaming videos, live tv, radioli & weather using a.Firirestick. I also ordered a xumo box to get additional channels but have not found it comparable to United Fiber TV. I would have additional cost to add a similar service. A phone line is also extra cost. The service was down after storms for at least 10 hours. A recorded message said they were working on the outage but didn’t specify a reason for loss of internet or adjustment to billing. Customer service is minimal by phone & could be more helpful
