I like Brightspeed, I just feel that they are very expensive. I think they all are these days. I only have one laptop and one TV. I would have liked a better explanation when I called to sign up for their service on the charges, etc. I couldn’t understand the woman I was speaking with very well. With that being said, the tech they sent to my home after my move was terrific. Kind and so helpful! I would keep the service just because he was so amazing.

Very unhappy with the internet not staying connected, and difficulty that I don’t need!

Brightspeed internet keeps going in and out and the download is slow and uploading is real slow. I have to keep rebooting the router at least once a month.

Prices get raised without notice, I get 15 Mbps and my Nextdoor neighbor gets 85 Mbps. I pay $20 more a month for service than she does and I have 70 Mbps slower than she does. Tell me how this can make sense in any situation. When you try and talk to customer service they ignore your question and beat around the bush till you just have had enough of their nonsense. I can have a better conversation with a rock than I can with one of them. I lose internet when the wind is to gusty and then it takes 1-3 days for me to get it back. If there was another company I could go with that wasn’t satilite I would but no company comes out my way, so unfortunately I’m stuck with this useless company till something else comes.

Expecting a few bumps as we are new to the area and Bright Speed is our only Internet provider. Price OK, speed when it works OK (not great but OK) Customer service is just not there. Each time we have had to call its been a problem at the road they cancelled the first time and had to reschedule. This time they pushed us from Friday to Monday (today). They didn’t come to the house to ask us any questions. But went straight to the road. We are sure they knew that was the problem because there are two wires sticking out of the ground (since the first repair). So today they simply jumped a wire across the snow and dirt and connected it to the other wire and left it all sticking out of the ground. Its working right now. But for the past week or two it goes off 4 to 5 times every 40 to 45 minutes, then stays off. Is this how they correct things? Is this the great customer service they talk about on their website? WOW! really really disappointing and frustrating.

Internet has always been iffy and would go out every now and then. When it happened this time we called them to ask why it was out, and they told us if was because of Hurricane Helene. We live 4 states away. Then we called again the next day and we were told that we had to accept NEW terms and conditions or we couldn’t continue having Internet. After asking the person on the phone what it was about and how we were not comfortable with it, they hung up on us. I will NEVER recommend this provider to anyone.

They did not show up or call on the day they were supposed to. When I called at the end of the day I was told that the repair ticket was no longer valid since their day had ended and that I was put in the end of the line and the earliest available repair date was 1 week away. They did not show up or call on the day they were supposed to. When I called at the end of the day I was told that the repair ticket was no longer valid since their day had ended and that I was put in the end of the line and the earliest available repair date was 1 week away. Internet and phone service is intermittent at best. I have been without a phone for 2 months although I am still charged for it. We have scheduled repair dates 4 separate times and they either show up a day or two early when we are not here or send a text how our problem has been fixed only to find out when we get home that it has not. If you have other options don’t use them. We are finally getting other options in our area and I will be switching.

Brightspeed is the only option I have and that is the only reason they are my provider.

Connection is spotty and at times easily disruptive.

The speed is very slow and is not reliable, especially when it rains.
