What do Spectrum customers think?
Spectrum is a cable internet provider. Customer satisfaction among internet providers is generally low, but Spectrum customers gave the provider high scores in customer service satisfaction. Spectrum also had average satisfaction scores in the speed and reliability sections, but its year two price increases could be causing some lower scores in the price category.

My only issue with Spectrum is the intermittent service … it has several daily incidences of my service going off and on again. Very annoying.

Equipment was delivered quickly, installation was easy with the existing coax that was in our home, setup was automatic from our smartphone. Service has proved reliable for the two months it been used for mostly internet browsing and video streaming. Price is reasonable and guaranteed for two years.

I have been a Spectrum customer for the last 8-12 years. They offer some great packages but some how the value of those packages don’t seem to maintain the original standard after so much time has passed. They do make up for it in customer service and offers that are available once you talk to them.

Over time, the cost of my internet has doubled, and I’m paying almost $120 a month for their most basic internet. Great service, but VERY expensive after you’ve been with them for a few years

I just moved into apartments and needed service. Spectrum came right away, but I’m paying for 2 phone lines, and I only have 1 active. My son’s phone was not compatible with Spectrum, and it was too late. Now, I’m ready to go to another service, because it is very slow. I have to wait 5-10 seconds, everytime I try to see pics. or go on Marketplace, etc. Spectrum seems to lag quite a bit. Not as advertised, or it seemed to say. Its just ok, if you are on a tight budget, and have patience. Ty

The minimum price of 30 is deceptive information. There’s no plan at this price. They give you a promotion of 42 and then abruptly raises the fees in almost 50%. The service is unreliable as it fails quite a lot and videos get stuck while downloading.

Our Spectrum internet is slow and very unreliable. We live near the mountains and rely on WiFi to make phone calls. Most of my phone calls drop or the other person cannot hear me because the connection is so bad.

Ever since my “promo price” expired, Spectrum has done nothing but take advantage of the situation. Like others, they just don’t care. There’s no other options where we live so it’s a monopoly of sorts.

For the past three months the reliability of Spectrum’s service has deteriorated substantially. The service goes out at least twice a month and forget the restoration time that is given on their text messages. At least once in the past month it went out at 2:00 pm and initially was told it would be back by 5:00pm. After a series of rolling delays it finally came back at 3:30 am. When I called to ask for a prorated refund for the service I didn’t receive I was told that since the problem wasn’t their fault there would be no refund.
