Optimum is a cable and fiber internet provider. Optimum has lower customer satisfaction scores than most of the top ISPs in our survey, but it offers high-speed fiber plans up to 8,000 Mbps and cable plans up to 1,000. Optimum is also one of the more affordable providers, with its cable and fiber plans starting at $40/mo.

The installation was prompt and thorough. The service speed meets all of my needs. When I needed to request special billing accommodation the customer service rep was understanding, kind and granted my request.

Optimum was easy to schedule for hookup. Technician was on time and knowledgeable. He took his time to ensure the modem was placed where we wanted it. Optimum noticed a service issue before we did and the Service tech was polite, informative and went above to ensure our service was not interrupted long and would last for the long haul. We are very satisifed.

When using Zoom there will be at least two occasions of freeze up during a one hour meeting. Some pixelation when watching streaming service.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Provides zero support and lack of knowledge or willingness to help is blatantly obvious. Steer clear of this ISP.

We have two people in the home working remotely. Our 400 Mbps plan is $82/mo. and we routinely test it at around 310 Mbps to 390 Mbps, which is perfect. No lag or other issues. We rarely have outages or equipment issues, but when I do need to call, Optimum’s customer service is very responsive.

George the tech came and fixed my internet. Fantastic, great customer service. Couldn’t of asked for a better tech. Keep up the good work George!!!

If my options weren’t limited when I first signed up, I would never choose Optimum. I was overcharged, underserved, and could never fix things because their customer service is the worst I have ever seen. I moved six months ago and I am still trying to get them to disconnect my service…

always raising the price despite guaranteeing me $35 price when signing on. My bill, went from 35 to 57 to now 77! I have a small house and live alone. Absolutely ridiculous.

Most recently tried to disconnect a mobile phone transfer and were unsuccessful . Left with the feeling that I should get of the whole entire service with them !
