Why should you consider bundling internet?

Thinking of bundling your TV and internet service provider in 2025? It’s never a bad time to save money, in addition to other benefits that come with combining services.

  • Bundling internet and TV or phone services can save you time. Get the convenience of a single bill to simplify your budget, plus the ease of working with one company for customer and technical support
  • Bundling can equal real savings. Xfinity’s multi-product discount of $20 off for each additional service is a standout offer, but keep in mind that not every provider offers discounts for combining services
  • Bundle TV and internet for free perks. Free streaming services, speed or data upgrades, access to premium channels and mobile services at no extra charge are just a few of the incentives for bundling with providers like Verizon and T-Mobile

How we picked the best internet bundles

To provide you with the best bundle options, our staff looks at:

  • Price: Will bundling services give you a discount?
  • Speed: Is the speed offered in a bundle competitive?
  • Availability: Are bundles available to the majority of the service area?
  • Number of services: Can you bundle two or more services?
  • Contracts: Do the services require contracts?

Which providers offer the best bundle discounts?

Best for saving: Xfinity offers the most bundle savings of $20.00 off your monthly bill for each service you bundle, up to $60.00 off

Best for simplicity: Spectrum’s no-contract plans and simple pricing make for no-hassle bundling

Best for extra customer perks: Select T-Mobile bundles come with Netflix (with ads) and restaurant and gas discounts at participating locations

Tips for choosing the best bundle

When deciding between individual services or internet bundles, start by defining what internet speed and viewing content your household needs.

Asking yourself these questions can help narrow down your bundle options:

  • What’s available near me? Confirm available internet packages and bundle options by checking your ZIP code here on Allconnect.com
  • What speed and channels are needed? Know how much speed you need for what you use the internet for, what TV options are suitable and if you need home or mobile phone as part of your bundle
  • Are you saving money by bundling? Some internet providers offer little to no discounts for bundling, but may offer one-time gift cards or value-added services like faster internet or premium channels instead
  • What’s the real cost? Don’t just go by the advertised bundle rate. Factor in equipment fees, promo length (and standard pricing afterward), contracts or early termination fees

Allconnect’s side-by-side comparisons and expert analysis of bundle deals can help you define what you need and find internet and TV bundles that match. After all, new bundle offers with extra perks can be appealing, but if you didn’t want those services in the first place, the savings might not add up.

Internet, TV and phone bundling options

Triple-plays that bundle internet, TV and phone with savings often provide the most value for your money

Many top internet providers, like Xfinity, Spectrum, AT&T and others, offer triple-play options. A few ISPs even offer internet and phone bundles with mobile service at no extra cost. Other providers offer non-traditional bundles, such as Frontier, which partners with YouTube TV as part of its bundle packages.

The following table highlights a few of the cheapest internet bundle packages, but be sure to check your ZIP code to view the exact bundle deals available at your location.

Internet and TV bundling options

Most cable and fiber optic providers offer double-play bundles featuring just internet and TV. We’ve listed some cheap internet and TV offers from popular providers below, but you likely have additional bundle options available at your address.

Optimum and AT&T both offer double-play bundles with great value. 300 Mbps and over 160 channels for $120.00/mo. is a great deal compared to some other providers. Xfinity also offers a ton of package variety and the most discounts.

Bundles with regional sports networks

If you value watching local sports events, make sure your cable or streaming TV package includes regional sports networks (RSNs). These sports networks specifically air events from teams to their geographically nearby viewers.

Not all cable TV packages have RSNs, however, so you may need to jump up a tier or two and pay a bit extra.

  • DIRECTV offers the most regional sports viewing of everything out there, starting with their Choice TV plan
  • Optimum has the YES and Big Ten regional sports networks, but dropped the popular Bally and MSG networks
  • Frontier offers various RSNs in their Ultimate, Extreme, Prime and Choice TV plans
  • Xfinity’s Popular and Ultimate TV plans offer multiple choices of RSNs

Internet and mobile phone bundles

Bundling your cellphone plan with your internet could also be a great way to save some money or simplify your monthly bill. Find an internet plan right for you and check out some of the best mobile plans from top carriers.

Internet and home phone bundling options

Cord cutters who don’t need a traditional TV service can still take advantage of bundle savings where available. Internet and home phone bundles can also present additional options from providers such as Hughesnet and Viasat that do not offer TV service.

Xfinity, Cox and Spectrum offer the cheapest internet and home phone bundles from our list below, but Frontier offers a great deal with more speed than its competitors.

Things to remember when you shop for bundles

Actual savings will vary by provider, but most will reward you for combining services, to the tune of $5.00 – $25.00/mo. or more in savings. Find out what our sales experts have to say about potential bundle savings.

Learn more about bundle vs. standalone pricing
When choosing a bundle package, make sure you consider hidden fees when determining which plan will fit into your budget. There are a wide range of fees you can expect with internet and cable TV bundles, including internet equipment and TV equipment monthly rental charges, installation fees, broadcasting charges, activation fees and more. Click below to learn more about the hidden fees of internet plans.

Guide to internet fees
While bundling can save you money compared to opting for standalone services, a bundle with high savings may come with more services or features than you need. Some bundles come with a no-contract internet option, while others may make you sign a contract for a service. Consider your needs and get the package that makes the most sense for your home, even if they are standalone services from different providers.

Bundling FAQs

Can you bundle cellphone service with internet and TV?

Some providers like Xfinity offer discounted wireless internet service when you bundle with an additional home service. See more about the savings you can get from a cellphone home service bundle with a provider near you.

Your bundle savings will depend on the provider of your choice. Most bundles start at $10.00 off each service added to a TV, internet and phone plan, but some providers help you save more.

Optimum offers the cheapest internet, TV and phone bundle with their Optimum 300, Core TV and phone Triple Play. The bundle starts at $130.00/mo. and includes speeds up to 300 Mbps, more than 220 channels and over 21 popular calling features with local and long distance calling.

You can bundle YouTube TV streaming service with AT&T, Optimum or Xfinity, but you won’t get any discounts in doing so. You can also bundle DIRECTV with AT&T, but there isn’t a discount for that either.
