How Allconnect works

Go behind the scenes with our team.

Why we ask for your address

When you see an ad for a great new internet plan on billboards, online or while streaming, you probably want to check it out, right?

Unfortunately, not every internet provider is available in every place. In fact, your neighbor might not even have access to the internet provider you are using. Crazy and confusing, isn’t it?

This is where we come in. Allconnect can help you sort it all out. To do that, we’ll ask for your address, which is how we can identify which internet service provider is available exactly where you live.

How we do it

We partner with over 30 internet and TV providers to keep the information on our site as up-to-date as possible.

When you enter your address on an Allconnect page, it shows you every internet service provider that’s available in your area. We get this information in three ways: through Federal Communications Commission (FCC) data, from our in-house technology and from providers directly.

Every provider in the country is required to fill out something called Form 477 twice a year. On this form, providers tell the FCC every census block in which they offer internet service. This data is then made available to the public.

Some providers also give us the ZIP codes that they service directly, which we then use to manually update our results.

Allconnect’s provider ratings

We review current internet service providers by looking at affordability, performance, value and customer satisfaction to help you make the right choice for a home internet plan. Learn more about how Allconnect reviews internet service providers. How we make money

Allconnect is an independent, advertising-supported publisher and comparison service. Our partners may compensate us when you click links or sign up for services through our site.

This compensation may impact in what order products appear. Additionally, we occasionally use Amazon affiliate links when recommending a product in our articles.

We may receive compensation when you click a link and make a purchase. Your information is only shared with your selected providers during checkout. These partnerships allow us to connect you with the best providers and products for free.
