Find Mississippi internet providers by city

Mississippi is known for its world-famous barbecue and Bluegrass music. But if you’re planning to move to the Magnolia State, don’t expect to get the best internet access. Mississippi is one of the poorest states, and it’s not known for its connectivity or technological innovation. Residents in urban areas may be able to get access to decent internet speeds. But for Mississippians living in rural areas, a reliable internet connection is very hard to come by.

Even though internet access in Mississippi is relatively sparse compared to nationwide standards, there are a number of companies that offer it. If you live in one of the cities below, there’s at least one provider that can offer you coverage.

We had nothing but trouble with our internet service starting a few days after installation. Tried fixing it through “troubleshooter” but that failed & spoke with several techs, but they could not find the problem. I had to find the problem myself, which turned out that unbeknownst to me, the service we were sold on was a metered acct. … We should have been told before installation about this metering & the problems it could cause. At the very least, Comcast/Xfinity should have been able to solve the problem. I fixed the problem, therefore, Comcast/Xfinity should have been able to fix it, too!
