In an effort to fight the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the MLB has delayed the start of the 2020 regular season. We’ll continue to update this page as more information is announced.

The Washington Nationals are the defending Major League Baseball (MLB) champions. The franchise wrapped up its first World Series title in October 2019. This was the team’s first appearance in the World Series. The organization’s success that year was remarkable in many ways — the Nationals began their championship season with a 19-31 record.

The franchise began life in 1969 as the first Canadian MLB team — The Montreal Expos. The organization remained in the National League until 2004 when it moved south of the border to Washington, DC. The Nationals have five previous Eastern Division titles, of which the most recent was in 2017.

Mid-Atlantic Sports Network carries most Washington Nationals’ matchups. Games are only available in the Washington area, and blackout restrictions apply.
