In an effort to fight the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the MLB has delayed the start of the 2020 regular season. We’ll continue to update this page as more information is announced.
Texas boasts two Major League teams, the Texas Rangers and the Houston Astros. The Rangers team is part of the American League West. The franchise’s history is shorter than most — but the organization has put together several teams that have made lots of noise in recent years, winning seven division titles and two American League pennants.
Even though the Texas Rangers have never won a World Series, they made appearances in 2010 and 2011. Some of the most famous players to pass through the Rangers clubhouse include Michael Young, Iván Rodriguez and Lance Berkman.
