In an effort to fight the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the MLB has delayed the start of the 2020 regular season. We’ll continue to update this page as more information is announced.

The Seattle Mariners is a Major League Baseball (MLB) team playing in the American League. The Mariners joined the league in 1977 as an expansion team. After several less than encouraging years, the organization began winning in the 1990s. The Mariners have won three American League West titles. In 2001, the franchise set an American League record for most wins in a single season with 116 games.

The team hasn’t yet won a championship — it’s one of six MLB teams that have never made it to the World Series. Notable stars who have passed through the team’s ranks include Edgar Martinez, Ken Griffey Jr. and Ichiro Suzuki.

Root Sports Northwest carries most Seattle Mariners games, but you’ll need to look elsewhere for nationally televised action. And most importantly, local blackouts still apply.

How to stream the Seattle Mariners

Currently, there are no streaming services that offer Root Sports Northwest.

How to watch the Seattle Mariners on cable

What channel is the game on? If you have a traditional TV provider that carries Root Sports Northwest, you can tune in and watch the Seattle Mariners. Access is limited to subscribers who live in the Seattle area, and of course, you still have to contend with regional blackouts.

The MLB has yet to announce game schedules for the modified 2020 regular season. We’ll update this page soon after that information becomes available.
