In an effort to fight the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the MLB has delayed the start of the 2020 regular season. We’ll continue to update this page as more information is announced.

The Oakland Athletics team has a longstanding history in Major League Baseball. The team had an exciting 2018 and even earned a Wild Card berth in 2019.

The organization started in Philadelphia in 1901 and moved to Kansas City in 1955, where it stayed for 13 seasons before moving to Oakland. The team has earned 16 Western Division titles, 15 American League pennants and a whopping nine World Series crowns. Jose Canseco, Mark McGwire, Dennis “Eck” Eckersley and Rickey Henderson are just a few of the team’s best-known players.
