This comedy is so fetch! It centers around a high school in Chicago where Cady Heron is attending public school for the first time after spending her entire life being homeschooled in Africa. A child psychologist takes on a new patient, a young boy who claims that he can see dead people. Along the way, the psychologist just may learn a thing or two about himself and the relationships around him.  

Carrie (1976)

A classic Stephen King adaptation by Lawrence D. Cohen tells the story of a shy, young girl named Carrie. Coming from a sheltered and religious home, she has the gift of telekinetic powers. After being the center of a practical joke at her high school prom, she unleashes a horror that nobody could have expected.   

The Spectacular Now (2013) 

The Spectacular Now is a unique and intense story of young love. Two high schoolers find themselves in an unlikely romance as the “popular funny guy” ends up falling for the “good girl” type. The two share a rare exchange that offers hilarity and heartbreak as they navigate the unsteady waters of entering adulthood together.  

Hustlers (2019) 

Jennifer Lopez and Constance Wu portray two strippers at the height of their exotic dancing careers near Wall Street just before the 2008 market crash. Blue Valentine (2010) 

Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams come together to portray the heartwarming and heartbreaking love story of a modern couple struggling to keep their marriage from falling apart. The King’s Speech (2010) 

This story follows King George VI of England’s journey after he was crowned following his father’s passing and his brother’s abdication of the crown. Having to overcome a debilitating speech impediment, Bertie struggles to find his confidence as king and respect from his people. By embracing an unorthodox form of treatment, this movie covers his effort to overcome his unforeseen trials.
