AT&T TV free trials
How does it work?
AT&T TV’s free trial isn’t as clear as those advertised on other services. But once you choose a plan and subscribe, you’ll have two weeks to cancel without being charged. Be careful, though. Because after this grace period is up, the termination fees are hefty. You’ll be required to pay $15/mo. for all the remaining months of your contract, as well as additional fees for equipment.
Who is eligible?
New residential customers are eligible to make use of the free trial period. But you’ll first need to make sure that you reside within an area that AT&T TV services. The best way to find out if you’re eligible is to call an AT&T rep today at 888.663.8902.
You’ll also require a high-speed internet connection for AT&T TV to work. AT&T recommends speeds of at least 24 Mbps.
Price after free trial
After your free trial expires, the price of AT&T TV depends on your package — pricing is as follows: Entertainment ($59.99/mo.), Choice ($64.99/mo.), XTRA ($74.99/mo.), Ultimate ($79.99/mo.) and Premier ($129.99/mo.). There’s also Optimo Más, a Spanish-language package that starts at $64.99/mo.
However, in the second year of your contract, rates jump up for each package. So, the minimum for every package rises subsequently to the following: Entertainment ($93/mo.), Choice ($110/mo.), XTRA ($124/mo.), Ultimate ($135/mo.), Premier ($183/mo.) and Optimo Más ($86/mo.)
Who is it best for?
This trial is best for traditional TV lovers who are curious about streaming. With AT&T’s reliability and service, you’ll feel a certain sense of comfort with its assistance over competitors. Using an Android-powered set-top box, there are many similarities between AT&T TV and traditional satellite providers. And you’ll find plenty of options to fit your needs. For instance, if you’re a sports fan, then you probably want the Choice package or higher in order to tap into regional sports networks (RSNs).
