Troubleshooting Suddenlink internet, TV or phone services

Suddenlink provides easy to follow video tutorials that talk you through some of the most common internet, TV or home phone service issues you may run into. Check out some topics you may find useful next time you need a helping hand.

If you are more of a visual learner, Suddenlink’s help desk also offers simple step-by-step instructions for a wide range of questions. Some of the most common connectivity questions include how to troubleshoot your TV service, how to troubleshoot your internet, how to restart your modem and router and factors affecting internet speeds.

Forgot your username or password?

If you forget your username, click the “Forgot Username” link. You will then have to either input  the email address associated with your account or both your account number and access code (PIN). You can find your account number and access code on the upper left corner of your bill.

If you forget your password, click the “Forgot Password” link when signing into your account. Click “Get security question” and answer the security question that you made when you first created your account.

If you do not know your account number, access code (PIN) or security question, you will need to call Customer Service.

How to return your Suddenlink equipment

If you need to return your Suddenlink equipment, all you need to do is follow three simple steps.

  1. Disconnect your equipment: Put all the equipment you want to return, including remotes and power cords, in a box. You will need to include a copy of your Suddenlink bill in the box. Alternatively, you can write down your name, street address, state, ZIP code and account number on a piece of paper.
  2. Print and attach your pre-paid return label: Fill out a return shipping label, print out the label(s) and then attach one label per box.

Ship your package: Drop your box off at any authorized FedEx location. You will need a receipt for your shipment for proof of mailing so do not use a FedEx dropbox.

Managing your Suddenlink data usage

Your Suddenlink internet data usage can be monitored at your Suddenlink My Account. Select My Services from the menu on the right and see your monthly usage at any time.

Checking for Suddenlink outages

To check your area for an outage, log in to your Suddenlink My Account. Look on the right-hand side under My Services and you’ll see any information regarding outages in your area. You can also check for outages on the Suddenlink2GO app.

Suddenlink bill pay

Suddenlink bill pay can be done in one of multiple ways. These options include

  • Sign in to My Account and use a credit card, debit card or checking account to make a one-time Suddenlink payment.
  • For Suddenlink bill pay by phone, call 888.822.5151 to make a payment using a check or credit card from MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover.
  • Make a payment in person at the nearest Suddenlink store using the store finder.
  • Mail a check or money order with your payment stub to the address found on your bill. If you do not have your Suddenlink bill, you can send payment to Suddenlink Communications, PO Box 742535, Cincinnati, OH 45274-2535. North Carolina residents should send their payment to P.O. Box 742698, Cincinnati, OH, 45274-2698.
