What to expect from Spectrum internet

  • Fast speeds – While gigabit service isn’t available to all Spectrum customers, speeds of 100, 200, 300 or 400 Mbps typically are.
  • No data caps – There is no monthly data cap with Spectrum, so you don’t have to worry about monitoring your data usage to avoid overage fees.
  • No contracts – Spectrum internet comes with no long-term commitment. And if you are locked into a contract with another provider, Spectrum offers a contract buyout offer up to $500.

Spectrum plan speeds vary by location

One thing to note with Spectrum is that download speeds for the Spectrum Internet and Spectrum Internet Ultra plans are not the same in all areas. 

While 200 Mbps is the max download speed for Spectrum Internet, some locations will max out at 60 or 100 Mbps for the same plan (and price). Similarly, Spectrum Internet Ultra plans could come with speeds of 300 or 400 Mbps, even though the price is the same.

The Internet Gig plan offers the most consistent max speeds and pricing, but is currently only available in select markets.

How do Spectrum internet customers feel about their service?
