Is Frontier internet available in my area?
As the fifth largest DSL provider in the U.S., Frontier is available to nearly 34 million people nationwide. Frontier provides DSL services to many rural areas where a customer’s only other internet option may be a satellite provider. With Frontier DSL, you get the reliability of a dedicated internet line, plus the convenience of no data caps and secure home Wi-Fi. In metro areas across nine other states, Frontier offers fiber-optic internet, under either the FiOS or Vantage name.
Frontier internet availability
Frontier DSL is available in 25 states, offering speeds up to 115 Mbps, where available. Residents of California, Florida and Texas may have access to Frontier FiOS internet, offering packages with 50 Mbps, 200 Mbps and 1G internet. Frontier Vantage customers can take advantage of internet speeds up to 940 Mbps in parts of Connecticut, Illinois, North Carolina, Ohio and South Carolina.
Frontier FiOS availability
Frontier FiOS is a true fiber service, meaning the connection is 100% fiber-optic connection all the way to your doorstep. Frontier FiOS offers some of the lowest monthly rates for fiber-optic internet, offering plans starting at $29.99/mo.* for up to 50 Mbps download and upload speed.
Frontier FiOS vs. DSL
Compared to Frontier DSL internet service, FiOS offers speeds much faster than even the fastest DSL plan. DSL internet uses copper phone lines to deliver the internet, but with FiOS, data is transmitted as light signals over thin pieces of glass. Gaming, streaming in 4K, downloading music and connecting 10+ devices at once is made possible by Frontier FiOS reliability and symmetrical upload and download speeds.
Frontier FiOS availability
Why do Frontier customers love Frontier FiOS? Because they get fast speeds at an affordable price without any data caps to worry about. Here are a few of the major cities in California, Florida and Texas where you can find Frontier FiOS.
*Pricing per month plus taxes for length of contract. Additional fees and terms may apply. Pricing varies by location and availability. All prices subject to change at any time. May or may not be available based on service address. As of 09/01/20.
