Frontier offers internet and phone coverage in 25 states nationwide. TV service is no longer available through Frontier. Exact services and availability vary by state and city. Frontier offers two types of internet service: DSL and Frontier Fiber.
Frontier DSL availability
As the fifth-largest DSL provider in the U.S., Frontier is available to over 30 million people nationwide. Frontier provides DSL services to many rural areas where a customer’s only other internet option may be a satellite provider. With Frontier DSL, you get the reliability of a dedicated internet line, plus the convenience of no data caps and secure home Wi-Fi.
Frontier Fiber availability
Frontier is also the fifth-largest fiber provider in the U.S., serving approximately 9.5 million people. Frontier offers fiber optic internet in parts of California, Florida and Texas.
As of May 2020, Ziply Fiber took over Frontier coverage in areas of Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. Check out what Ziply Fiber has to offer and the plans you’ll shop with the new provider.

Frontier Fiber availability
Frontier Fiber is a true fiber service, meaning the connection is 100% fiber optic connection all the way to your doorstep. Frontier Fiber offers some of the lowest monthly rates for fiber optic internet, offering plans starting at $44.99/mo.*
Frontier Fiber vs. DSL
Compared to Frontier DSL internet service, Fiber offers speeds much faster than even the fastest DSL plan. DSL internet uses copper phone lines to deliver the internet, but with Fiber, data is transmitted as light signals over thin pieces of glass. Gaming, streaming in 4K, downloading music and connecting 10+ devices at once is made possible by Frontier Fiber reliability and symmetrical upload and download speeds.
Frontier Fiber availability
Why do Frontier customers love Frontier Fiber? Because they get fast speeds at an affordable price without any data caps to worry about. Here are a few of the major cities in California, Florida and Texas where you can find Frontier Fiber.
*Prices without Auto Pay and Paperless Billing. Per month for 12 mos. One-year agreement, early termination fee, and one-time charge apply. Max speeds are wired. Wi-Fi, actual & average speeds vary. Last updated 01/30/23.
