About Spectrum services

Spectrum is the second largest cable internet provider in the U.S., with service available to more than 100 million people across 42 states. Some residents in Spectrum service areas may have previously had Time Warner Cable or Bright House, both of which were acquired by Charter in 2015 and now fall under the Spectrum brand.

Spectrum’s response to COVID-19

Along with taking the “Keep Americans Connected Pledge,” which encourages internet providers to avoid disconnecting services due to non-payment, waive late fees and open public Wi-Fi hotspots, Spectrum has taken extra measures to help customers through the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the spirit of social distancing, Spectrum is offering contactless and self-install options. And to help students adjust to remote learning, Spectrum is providing households with K-12 or college students with a free internet connection to those who need it.

Spectrum’s contract buyout offer makes it easier to switch

Stuck in a contract with your current internet or TV provider? Those early termination fees don’t have to keep you from switching to Spectrum.

Spectrum’s contract buyout offer is good for up to $500 for new customers who sign up for a qualifying Double or Triple Play bundle.

Not only will Spectrum help you out of your current contract, they won’t lock you into another one. There is no long-term agreement required with Spectrum services.
