An update on AT&T wireless and TV deals

AT&T started offering wireless phone service and DIRECTV bundles in 2015, and their current wireless bundle is a steal.

The latest wireless service deal: $15 off per month* when bundled with TV

When you bundle an eligible unlimited wireless service plan with DIRECTV, DIRECTV NOW or U-verse, you can save $15 per month on whichever TV service you use.

Each TV service option comes with its own streaming app, so you can enjoy TV on the go with your new bundle. The AT&T wireless and DIRECTV NOW bundle particularly appeals to cordcutters who want to get the perks of bundling without purchasing cable or home phone service.

Plus, as AT&T develops its video streaming service, AT&T Watch TV, AT&T wireless customers may be able to watch video channels from their phones for free.

An update on AT&T fixed wireless service

AT&T began testing 5G fixed wireless service in four trial markets. AT&T reported at the end of June that residents in South Bend, Indiana, one of the four trial markets, have seen peak wireless speeds close to 1,000 Mbps (1 Gbps) and latency as low as 20 milliseconds.

Other trial markets for 5G fixed wireless include Austin, Texas, Waco, Texas and Kalamazoo, Michigan. South Bend, Indiana, is the first residential trial market.

AT&T currently offers fixed wireless internet across 17 U.S. states and continues to expand its rural fixed wireless service. Current AT&T fixed wireless internet plans have speeds starting at 10 Mbps and include a Wi-Fi Gateway and 170 GB of monthly data.

What the latest deals mean for AT&T customers and service shoppers

Customers still have time to take advantage of great AT&T internet and TV prices before fall sports start up and summer vacation ends.

Current AT&T offers

Current AT&T deals provide value to internet and TV shoppers, especially as sports fans look forward to fall football’s return and use the DIRECTV SUNDAY TICKET. Plus, with summer vacations in full swing across the U.S., getting access to AT&T Wi-Fi hotspots sweetens any internet plan.

Continued internet expansion

If you’re an AT&T shopper, you can look forward to better access to high-speed internet at competitive prices as well as more internet options.

More specifically, rural customers should soon have more access to reliable, high-speed internet with AT&T’s expansion of both 5G fixed wireless internet and regular fixed wireless internet.

Metro area customers should see higher speeds and more bandwidth with increased fiber expansion. More fiber-optic internet allows for heightened innovation and communication across metro areas.
