It may only be October, but the season of giving is upon us, and brands like Apple, Spotify and Verizon are hoping a few extra perks this time of year will help retain their existing customers and attract new ones.
So, if you’re looking for free stuff, here are a few of the things up for grabs (provided you’re already a customer or sign up to be one)…
A year of Apple TV+ from Apple
Apple TV+ already comes in at the hyper-competitive price of only $4.99/mo., but if you don’t want to pay for a subscription, you can get a year of Apple TV+ for free when you make any Apple hardware purchase, including an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac or Apple TV device, after September 10, 2019. Your device must be running the latest iOS software.
Once you’ve purchased your qualifying device, your Apple TV+ subscription will begin on November 1 and stay active for an entire year. Following the year, you’ll automatically be switched to a paid, monthly subscription, which you can cancel. Just keep in mind that canceling before your free year is up, though, immediately voids the offer — even if you haven’t finished the year out.
A Google Home Mini from Spotify
Spotify has done a few promotions for users in the past year, including a Google Home Mini offer and a free subscription to Hulu. They’re bringing back the Google Home Mini offer again starting today while supplies last for Premium Individual and Premium Family subscriptions who have a recurring payment method.
To claim the offer, visit either the Premium Individual or the Premium Family page and sign up for a new subscription. Existing customers should visit the page for their respective plan then click the “Get your Google Home Mini” link where it asks if you already have a subscription.
A year of Disney+ from Verizon
Starting on Nov. 12, new and existing Verizon Fios home internet and 5G home internet customers as well as new and existing 4G LTE wireless customers can get 12 months of Disney+ (the Walt Disney Company’s new $6.99/mo. streaming service) for free. The promotion makes Verizon the exclusive carrier to offer Disney+.
To sign up, visit Verizon’s Disney+ page and enter your email address. On November 12, you’ll get instructions on how to start your subscription. Following the one-year promotion, your account will revert to a $6.99/mo. monthly subscription unless you cancel.Shop internet plans
