Think your smart home hub can’t possibly get any smarter? Think again. For those wondering, can you watch Netflix on Google Nest Hub Max? Yes! Netflix is officially available on Google Nest Hub and Google Nest Hub Max devices and you can control it using voice commands or a couple of hand signals.
How does it work?
All you’ll need to do is link your existing Netflix account to your Nest Hub or Nest Hub Max device. Then, when you’re ready to stream your favorite shows, just say “Hey Google, open Netflix” to browse content.
You can also take advantage of your Nest Hub Max front-facing camera now that Google has enabled a hand gesture that allows you to stop and start shows as you please.
Google’s hub devices already support integration with YouTube as well as Photos and the Assistant apps. The Nest Hub Max device also supports the Meet and Duo apps just in time for the virtual shift in today’s workplace.
Although the Nest Hub and the Nest Hub Max only feature 7” and 10” screens, the newest addition to the interface puts both devices above competitors like Amazon’s Echo Show and the Facebook Portal. Neither currently supports Netflix, although the Echo Show features live TV functions and Facebook Portal supports Amazon Prime Video, CBS All Access, Sling TV, STARZ and SHOWTIME.
