Mark your calendars because Amazon Prime Day is June 21-22. Here is everything you need to know about Prime Day.
Who is eligible?
Anyone who has an Amazon Prime account will have access to all of Amazon’s special savings offers. According to Amazon, Prime members purchased a total of $10.4 billion worth of goods last year on Prime Day 2020. If you don’t have a Prime account but want to participate, you can sign up for a 30-day trial this month. As long as you cancel before your trial ends, you will not be charged the $119 for a year of Amazon Prime.
Does Prime Day happen every year?
Prime Day is an annual deal event that began in July 2015. The event used to be for only 24 hours. As of 2019, it’s for 48. Last year in 2020, Amazon Prime Day occurred in October, but that was due to delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, Amazon Prime Day is back to its normal time of early summer.
Are there any early Prime Day deals?
While there will be more deals starting Oct. 13, there are actually a handful of special offers already available. For instance, when you spend $10 at select small business stores anytime between now and Oct. 12, you will receive a $10 credit that you can use on Prime Day.
