One item we never really discussed was the recent acquisition of Broadview Security by ADT home security systems.

After a brand renovation last year that saw Brinks Home Security transform itself into Broadview Security, there has been a final transformation.  In its effort to build the “world’s largest electronic security provider”, ADT’s parent company, Tyco International, recently announced its acquisition of Broadview Security.  The acquisition, which was officially announced on May 14, 2010, will allow ADT and Broadview Security to serve more than six million customers under the ADT brand name.
