Handle with Care: Take the time to pack properly
When you start packing up your house in the days before your move it’s easy to lose focus. You’ve got a million things on your To-Do list. You’ve got to coordinate with the movers. Turn off the utilities. Connect the digital TV and high speed Internet at your new house. Finish packing!
It’s easy to get swept up in all the chaos, but you’ll thank yourself later for paying special attention to the small things now. For instance, you might think it will take too long to individually wrap all those dishes and glasses. That may even be true, but a little extra time now will save a lot of frustration later. Seriously! "Handle with Care," is no joke!
Taking the extra time to wrap your dishes and other breakables in crushed paper, or even paper towels, is well worth it. An extra hour of your time is well worth not having to replace a pile of broken dishes when you arrive at your new house. That’s worse than waiting all day for the guy to come connect your new cable service.
