No one likes the idea of spending money on boxes, so the liquor store and grocery store are often an obvious place to pick up those that are being discarded. However, Jammie Girl suggests you get your packing boxes from the loading dock of a hospital! They’re already broken down and you know they’re going to be clean!
Be mindful of how you load the moving truck. The last things loaded into the truck will be the first things taken out, so plan accordingly. Work from the top floor to the bottom floor and back rooms to front rooms when unloading, loading the truck in reverse (first floor items get loaded in first, second floor items get loaded in last).
