Introducing Jennifer Hutcheson of Mami2Mommy

Allconnect recently had the privilege of connecting with some amazing mom bloggers by forming a Mom Advisory Group.  This group offers feedback on our services and new initiatives – including product launches and new functionality. In addition, we’ve asked them to spread the good news about Allconnect.

We’d like to introduce you to this group of amazing and busy women. In the next two weeks, we’ll be posting profiles of the moms in our advisory group. Jennifer is a mami to a 19-month-old boy, Shaun (aka Shaunsito) and the wife of another bigger boy also named Shaun. Originally from the suburbs of New York, she relocated to the suburbs of Atlanta in 2001. Jennifer is very involved in Atlanta’s blogging community and in the Latino community. She serves as the Twitter Community Manager for @BeingLatino and is also an active member of Latinos in Social Media. Recently she was invited to be a part of the Momtourage.com team as a contributing writer.  When she’s not working as a pr/social media consultant and freelance writer, Jennifer spends her days chasing after Shaunsito and picking crushed Goldfish or Cheerios from her couch and floor.

Jennifer started her blog to chronicle the trials and tribulations as a new mom, as well as keep family and friends up-to-date on Shaunsito’s life. When the response was a bit slow, she decided to revamp the blog to get feedback from moms she knew, but also moms she didn’t know, in real life. The response was encouraging and from then on Jennifer’s goal has been to create una comunidid (a community) with many voices to give others a platform to be heard.

If Jennifer could have “One Less Thing to Worry About” it would be finding reliable sources to help her and her family save money.
